Most of us struggle with finding time to exercise regularly. Especially when we work more than 8 hours a day, have a second job, or have a household chore to complete. This can sometimes lead to stress eating, which we are not aware can affect our health. You ultimately risk your long-term health and well-being when you don’t make time to move your body.

Yes, making time for exercise is difficult when you are constantly juggling work, household chores, and other commitments, but it is not impossible. Even for less than an hour, we can fit exercise into our schedule. 

Here are some tips to stay fit and healthy even with a busy schedule:

  • Schedule your workouts just like you do your meetings
  • Use a treadmill during business calls
  • Stay Hydrated
  • If you don’t have equipment at home, choose the closest gym in your area
  • Ride a bike, walk, or jog to work or when running errands
  • Get your kids involved in your exercise
  • Create a playlist of workout videos on YouTube
  • Prepare a healthy meal at night
  • Stretching is beneficial when your job requires you to sit in a chair for the majority of the day
  • Install workout apps on your phone when there’s no gym in your area
  • Bring healthy snacks to work like carrots, apples, almonds, and a granola bar
  • Being positive and consistent in your fitness

If you have a lot of free time, you can also schedule a class like boxing. Plus, boxing can be a stress-relieving sport. But make sure that you will choose the best activity that you’re interested in.
